Since this breed stole our heart in 1985 we have bred 33 Champions, an ECM (English Cocker of Merit), 2 Grand
Champions, Obedience, Working,Tracking, as well as Agility titled dogs.
Breeding a litter or two a year and using the written standard as our blueprint,
we've maintained a consistent line of cockers that are merry, healthy and sound.
Whether a show dog or a family pet we cherish the friends our dogs have
introduced us to .
We were fortunate to have had the chance to use and import some wonderful dogs from Mollie Robinson 'Craigleith'
(est.1944).
Our
line is Craigleith based and we will forever be grateful to Mollie for sharing her knowledge and her dogs with us.
Our foundation girl Ch.Gandy Dancer's Can Dew II, earned her ECM with 9 Champion kids and many obedience,tracking,
and working titled kids.
A son of her's, Ch.
Whitfield Crescent Moon (Smudge) was known by most in the breed. His sire was Ch. Craigleith Man Of Magic. Smudge was #1 EC and #13 Sporting dog for 1997.
He had been ranked in the top 5 for over 4 years. He was a multiple Best In Show dog and as a veteran won the Canadian
National in 2001.
He
earned his Working Dog title at 11 1/2 years young. Not used often Smudge earned his ECM with 22 Champion children and a few
more are pointed.
Smudge
left a wonderful legacy of his kids and grandkids. With his wonderful temperament and vigorous health all our dogs go back
to Smudge.
Grand Ch.Whitfield BluVus Quicksilver has started a legacy
of his own. Several Silver kids have finished their Championships
and new kids are ready to take to the ring.
Silver was shown on a limited basis in 2007 and finished as #6. A group win and an Award of Merit rounded out his
year.
His son Ch.Whitfield BluVu's Silver N Gold (Troy ) is also proving himself as a stud dog.
